Introducing our next Picture competition – Chocolate Box Thatch – ENDED – Winner Below
Thank you for all your great entries and congratulations to our Chocolate Box Thatch picture competition Winner Mr C Curwood.
Chosen from a wonderful selection of thatched cottages by our judge J Sargent of Hampshire Property Photographs – it can’t have been easy and we so appreciate his professional help to do so.
It was suggested that our next picture competition should be “Chocolate Box Thatch” which we thought was a great idea.
Following on from the Thatch and Gardens Picture competition and associated gallery it made a lot of sense to give everyone the opportunity to show us even more great pictures of thatched cottages.

How to Enter
Just like before entering the competition is easy.
Email (claire@thatchadvicecentre.co.uk) with up to 5 of your lovely chocolate box thatch pictures. Please remember to include your contact details.
Sharing the lovely pictures
We love promoting thatch and, just like our previous competitions, we will probably do a fabulous gallery of all the entries (credited to you). So, if you are a homeowner with a great cottage, thatcher, photographer, passer by with a camera, architect, surveyor or even the chimney sweep. Anyone can enter.
We may use any pictures entered but they will be copyrighted by us and credited to you, if you wish. This will give you a great promotion opportunity.

Just get out your picture taking equipment be it a mobile phone, digital camera or professional camera and get snapping.
Rules
The Competition
This Thatch Advice Centre Picture Competition is called ‘Chocolate Box Thatch’
The Entries
A maximum of five photos can be entered via email to claire@thatchadvicecentre.co.uk
Each entry should include your name, address, postcode and contact telephone number. Only entries received by email (along with entrant name, address, postcode and telephone number) will be valid.
Closing Date and Judging
Midnight on 1st September 2022 is the closing date.
The Winner will be chosen by an independent judge, from all valid entries.
The Entries
All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrant must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
The Thatch Advice Centre may use the pictures and them be subject to Thatch Advice Centre © copyright, but will be credited to the entrant unless requested otherwise.
By entering, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.
And Finally
The Thatch Advice Centre reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
If the Thatch Advice Centre “Chocolate Box Cottage Picture Competition” winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another entrant.
