Well here it is, the last working day before we head to the capital. Organised and ready to meet lots of like-minded Natural Builders and trades with an interest in the same.
Frame, assorted thatching materials, fixings, tools and quite a few pictures (showing the versatility, durability and appeal of thatch as a roofing and building product). Some banners and a PowerPoint presentation showing thatch building construction and touching on the area of Fire Safety and Building Regulations which affect thatch.
Our Natural Builder friends attending will also be demonstrating and here is the provisional demonstration list to give you the ‘heads up’ on when the thatching will be going on. Don’t forget the other exhibitors at Excel London from Strawbuild, Artisan of Wood, Strawworks, Earth Building, Mike Wye and Associates Ltd, and UK Hempcrete.
It’s on from 8th to 10th March (which we hope you have noted) and for those who can’t make it we plan to put some information up on the website and, of course it will get a mention in our next Thatch Advice Centre Newsletter.
