Our friends at The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps have let us know about their next specific training in the area of sweeping thatched properties.
The course is open to all chimney sweeps and costs £250 including VAT. Lunch and all refreshments included. Guild members benefit from an attractive discount.
Candidates will receive a comprehensive manual with many detailed pictures which will be useful when explaining issues to home owners and a certificate of attendance will be issued.
The course is comprehensive and covers areas such as thatch combustion, cause of thatch fires, chimney systems and installations, insurance, risks and corrective measures and more. Click here for more information
