THATCH-SAFE® have attended the Fire safety for Thatch Roadshows in conjunction with the Thatched Owners Group and Essex Fire and Rescue.

These shows were to help thatched home owners understand more about fire safety for thatch.  Topics covered ranged from chimney inspections, to fire safety checklists, fire escape plans, along with various products which can help reduce the risks involved and therefore help with insurance premium reductions, eg THATCH-SAFE®, Magma Firestop and Chimney heat monitors.  

These events were free to thatched home owners and the excellent fire safety information packs were very well received.  It is hoped that they will roll out next year through other counties. Watch this space...
